Some of our Interactive Exhibit Galleries include DinoLabs, Fort Worth History, Energy Blast, Fort Worth Children's, the Cattle Raisers Museum and much more! Public Planetarium presentations are included in each Museum Exhibits Admission Fee. The Planetarium is open daily.
 
D-Day: Normandy 1944
D-Day: Normandy 1944 Fri 09/04/15 To Sun 03/06/16

June 6, 1944: The largest Allied operation of World War II began in Normandy, France. Yet, few know in detail exactly why and how, from the end of 1943 through August 1944, this region became the most important location in the world. Blending multiple cinematographic techniques, including animation, CGI and stunning live-action images, D-Day: Normandy 1944 brings this monumental event to the world’s largest screens for the first time ever.

NOTE: From January 15 through February 6, it is recommended that you park in the Western Heritage Garage just north of the Omni Theater for all Omni theater presentations.  During this period, all parking in the garage is $10 per car.

Dr. Mainella is a Visiting Scholar at Clemson University Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. Previously, Director Mainella served nearly six years as the 16th Director and the first woman to lead the National Park Service. Mainella served 12 years as Director of Florida’s State Parks, which were awarded the Gold Medal Award, recognizing Florida as the best state park system in the country. She has also served as executive director of the Florida Recreation and Park Association and as president of both the National Recreation and Park Association and the National Association of State Park Directors.
